Basha Bekele and his father currently operate on 12 hectares of semi-forested land. He also operates collection facilities in surrounding districts that help local farmers sell their coffee cherries to larger producers. He and his father care deeply about the community they are involved with and have recently built a church on their farm to encourage more involvement.
Our team cupped 30 coffees from Ethiopia from our friends at Crop to Cup Importers, and this coffee outshined all the other excellent coffees we tasted.
