We are thrilled to bring on this Washed Ethiopian! When cupping this coffee we couldn't help but notice the zippy acidity and fruit forward notes.
This coffee is processed by Kuri Mountain which was started by Mr. Aga Dinsa in 1945. The farm was passed to Habtamu Fikadu Aga in 2015, and he created the company Kuri Mountain at this time to continue his family’s legacy.
They not only revitalized the original farm but also built a modern processing plant in Gidami town. Kuri Mountain Coffee works closely with out growers, ensuring exceptional quality and supporting local communities. They own five processing sites across different regions and collaborate with over 138 out growers, managing a vast area dedicated to coffee production.
Kuri Mountain Coffee's dedication to quality has been recognized with an organic certification from Ecocert. They actively participate in the Ethiopian Coffee Exporters Association, fostering strong business relationships.
Kuri Mountain has a very advanced dry mill in Addis the mills their own coffee as well as many other small exporters we have sent his way. Coffee dry milled at their dry mill on average cups .5 points higher than some of the other mills that offer milling services for exporters.
