Food & Wine Magazine just released a list of the best coffee shops in every state. We're extremely honored to have been mentioned in the article as Georgia's best, joining some amazing companies from other states like Prevail Union (Alabama), Onyx (Arkansas), Sweet Bloom (Colorado), Panther (Florida), Camber (Washington), and Ruby (Wisconsin).

We just opened our coffee bar in September, so we weren't exactly expecting this honor. As you'll see in most everything we do, we're very proud to be from Atlanta, and we're proud to have joined a thriving coffee community here.

Whether at our coffee bar or elsewhere in Metro Atlanta, we're spoiled with a bunch of amazing shops that started right here in town.

Jared Karr's dream of becoming an FBI agent ended up with him living in Indonesia (long story, ask him), where he developed a fascination with coffee, as you do. These days, Karr is back home, busily growing one of the Southeast's most promising roasters—East Pole's bright and light café in the Armour Yards development is all but brand new, but this already feels like one of Atlanta's great coffee shops.
